The Ring Shatta Wale Used In Our Public Proposal Was Fake – Michy

Several fascinating revelations have surfaced from the GH Queens reality show, which is available for streaming on Showmax. Michy, the ex-girlfriend of Shatta Wale in particular, has provided followers with plenty to discuss with her statements on the show.

According to Michy, the ring Shatta Wale proposed to her during the Reign Concert, which garnered significant attention, was not a genuine one. Instead, it turned out to be a “display ring.” She discovered this when she attempted to pawn the ring for some money after their relationship deteriorated.

She said, “I didn’t know it was fake. After I left there, I tried to pawn it, and the price I got indicated that it was a display ring.”

Shatta Wale surprised everyone when he proposed to Michy during the launch of his highly anticipated ‘Reign’ album in 2021. With a ring in hand, he got down on one knee and asked the question that would change their lives: “Will you marry me?”

Michy, taken aback by the unexpected proposal, remained silent for a moment before embracing her partner and sharing a passionate kiss.

Their relationship had faced its fair share of challenges, with rumours of breakups, accusations, and insinuations. Some have even criticized Shatta Wale for not marrying his baby mama, especially when other artists and celebrities are tying the knot.

However, before the album launch, there were indications that the couple had resolved their differences. Shatta Wale featured Michy in his second single, ‘Spend Di Money.’

The launch of Shatta Wale’s ‘Reign’ album, hailed as one of the biggest events in Ghana’s music history, drew thousands of music fans and enthusiasts to the Fantasy Dome in Accra.
