Thomas Partey’s name is conspicuously missing in the FIFA 23 EA Sports Premier League team of the season nominees and his fans back in Ghana are stunned.
Partey, who has appeared in 26 games and scored three goals, has been essential to the success of league-leading Arsenal, who are vying for their first league championship in nearly 20 years.
Predictably, the issue has divided opinions online as Gunners all over the world believe the Ghanaian star deserves a place in the enviable list. Particularly, they believe players like Rodrigo Bentancur, Solly March, and Alexis Mac Allister are not better than him in the season under review.
