Transformers One: A New Animated Movie Set To Redeem The Franchise In 2024
The Transformers franchise is set to make a triumphant return to animation with the release of “Transformers One” in 2024.
The animated action-adventure movie, directed by Josh Cooley, is a prequel to the franchise and will delve into the early years of Optimus Prime and Megatron, providing a closer look at the war on their home planet, Cybertron.
“Transformers One” is expected to surpass the box office performance of the 1986 animated film, “The Transformers: The Movie,” which was a box office bomb despite its modest budget. The upcoming movie boasts an impressive voice cast, including Scarlett Johansson, Chris Hemsworth, Brian Tyree Henry, Jon Hamm, Laurence Fishburne, and Keegan-Michael Key.
“Transformers One” will be in theatres on September 20.
