Twitter Restores Kanye West’s Account After 8 Months Suspension

Kanye West’s account has been brought back on Twitter after an eight-month suspension for sharing materials that advocated violence.

The social media site had already taken action against him before. His profile was previously deleted when he uploaded a picture that appeared to combine the Star of David and the Swastika.

West broke the social network’s policy against inciting violence, according to Elon Musk, the founder of X (formerly known as Twitter), who previously provided an explanation for the ban.

The rapper’s account has been restored, but he hasn’t used it yet, leaving his 31.6 million fans curious about how he will respond in the future. Due to his history of making racist and antisemitic remarks, which resulted in a loss of followers and financial losses for him, Twitter decided to suspend Kanye West’s account.

Several apparel companies even ended their collaborations with the artiste because of his divisive views. It’s worth knowing that similar account suspensions have affected other well-known individuals, like Donald Trump. The former US president has not, however, started using Twitter again.

Tru News Report published in March 2023, Kanye West was reportedly filming an entire new documentary on one iPhone.

Wallo267, co-host of “Million Dollaz Worth of Game,” recently recalled a meeting he had with Kanye, who was accompanied by a producer who was responsible for capturing their interaction on a smartphone. Wallo267 said that he was informed that the footage would be used in a documentary Ye is creating about himself.

“I was with Ye months ago,” he explained. “This mothaf*cka had a white bull, right? Me and this bull talkin’. This white bull got an iPhone that’s all day… He documents everything. This gon’ be the documentary, the iPhone.”

It is unclear who is funding the documentary or why only an iPhone is being used to record it. Yet, it could be related to Kanye’s ongoing legal and financial difficulties.

This news follows Kanye’s October 2022 release of “Last Week,” a 30-minute documentary showcasing revealing footage from his professional and personal life. The documentary arrived in the early hours of Monday, October 10, 2022, just after the Anti-Defamation League blocked West’s Twitter and Instagram accounts for spreading “dangerous” and “antisemitic” information.

Additionally, Kanye was the star of a three-part Netflix documentary called “jeen-yuhs: A Kanye Trilogy,” which premiered on February 16, 2022. The docuseries follows Kanye as he moves from his hometown of Chicago to New York in order to secure a record deal and make his name as a rapper.

It includes archival footage of several of West’s musical colleagues and collaborators, including Pharrell and Jay-Z, as well as footage of the rapper performing onstage in Chicago and across the world.

It is not clear whether this new documentary filmed entirely on an iPhone will be related to “jeen-yuhs” or if it will be a separate project altogether. However, given that Kanye has been known for his creative endeavours across various mediums such as music, fashion, and film-making, it would not be surprising if this new project turns out to be another hit for him.
