Shatta Wale Finally Unites With Samini For The First Time In 20 Years

In a historic moment that has captivated the Ghanaian music scene, two of the country’s most iconic dancehall artistes, Samini and Shatta Wale, have reunited on stage after nearly two decades of rivalry and tension.

The unexpected reunion took place at the Legends Night concert in London, where the two artistes, known for their fierce competition and public feuds, put aside their differences and joined Daddy on stage, leaving the audience in awe.

The reconciliation between Samini and Shatta Wale, who have been described as the “Kotoko and Hearts” of the Ghanaian music industry, has been a long time coming. This was orchestrated by Daddy Lumba, the headline artiste, who invited both artites to join him on stage. The two artistes have had a tumultuous relationship marked by public spats and accusations.

However, the recent concert saw the two dancehall giants put aside their differences and embrace each other on stage, much to the delight of their fans. The moment was captured on video, as seen below:


The Legends Night with Daddy Lumba concert kicked off on Monday, May 6th, at the Lighthouse Theatre in London, with the second show scheduled for May 10th in Wolverhampton.

The concert saw performances from Daddy Lumba, Kofi Nti, Samini, and Essi, with cameo appearances by Shatta Wale and Medikal.

This year’s concert, organised by Alordia Promotions and WestCoast UK, marks the second time Lumba has mounted the stage in London in a decade.
