US Rapper Ja Rule Refused Entry To UK Ahead Of His Tour

American rapper Ja Rule, also known as Jeffrey Bruce Atkins Sr, has revealed that he has been denied entry into the UK just days before his scheduled tour was set to begin in Cardiff.

Ja Rule cited his criminal record as the reason behind the refusal, expressing his devastation on social media. He lamented spending a significant sum of his own money to organize the tour, only to face denial days before his performances.

The rapper, who was released from prison in May 2013 after serving time on gun possession and tax evasion charges, highlighted the UK’s strict entry regulations concerning individuals with criminal records. He explained that entry is typically restricted for those convicted of crimes punishable by 23 months or more under British law, or who have served over 12 months in prison.
