VGMA 2023: Black Sherif Wins Artiste Of The Year
Black Sherif maintained his reign over the past years by being adjudged Artiste of the Year at the 24th edition of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards. He defeated Stonebwoy, Sarkodie, King Promise, Camidoh, Kidi, Piesie Esther, and Joe Mettle, all of whom were also nominated for the award.
Since 2021, when he released songs like First Sermon, Second Sermon, and Kwaku The Traveller, Black Sherif has been a major force in Ghana’s music scene.
The 2023 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA) happened on Saturday, May 6, and several deserving artistes took some awards.
In the latest entertainment news today, Black Sherif won multiple awards at the 24th Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA), including Best Music Video, Best Hip-Hop Song, and Most Popular Song of the Year, while Afrobeats Song of the Year and Best Collaboration went to Camidoh, “5 Star” by King Promise won Album of the Year, Sarkodie won Best HipLife/HipHop Artiste, and Piesie Esther won both Gospel Song of the Year and Gospel Artiste of the Year.
