VGMAs 2023: How Your Favourite Celebs Turned Up On The Red Carpet

The 2023 edition of the annual Vodafone Ghana Music Awards went down live on May 6, 2023, at the Grand Arena inside the Accra International Conference Centre.

As widely predicted, Black Sherif crowned his remarkable year within the musical calendar year by winning the top-notch Artiste of the Year. He succeeded Lynx Entertainment star KiDi who was crowned Artiste of the Year during the 23rd edition of the Awards which took place in 2022.

Prior to the commencement of the show, the conventional red carpet showmanship became the focal point and Tru News Report sighted some celebs and what they wore to the show. Check it out below;

Cecy Twum is a veteran gospel musician from Ghana. Ceccy Twum released her first album Me Gyefo ne Yesu in 2005, which brought her into the limelight. Camidoh grabbed a couple of awards on the night for his continental hit song, ‘Sugarcane.’

Abiana’s full name is Eldah Naa Abiana Dickson. She is a Ghanaian singer and songwriter. She is a Soul-life, Hi-life, Neo Soul musician. Abiana was adjudged the Best Female Vocal Performance award during the 2021 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards.

Ghana’s finest fashionista Osebo was in his element.

Black Sherif

Black Sherif won the ultimate on the night. His ‘black’ sense of fashion was also on display prior to the commencement of the event.

Tagoe Sisters

The veteran gospel artistes who have chalked over 40 years in the music industry rocked an all-black ensemble on the evening. They also presented an award on stage.
