Watch How Missing Canadian Car Was Discovered In Ghana

A thorough investigation carried out by CBN News, spearheaded by David Common, has traced a car stolen from a Canadian man in Toronto to Ghana.

Apparently, right after the thieves made away with the car, which belonged to one Lernard, according to the information contained in the corresponding video attached to this report, they shipped it to Ghana for onward sale.

The revered journalist, after months of investigation, came to Ghana and spotted the car at what looked like a dealership in Accra. Together with the police, David Common inspected the car and saw the owner’s document covering the car. From the document, he saw Leonard’s number and called him via voice call before they switched to FaceTime with his permission.

The journalist introduced himself and told him that he had found his stolen car in Ghana, West Africa, to which Leornard expressed great surprise. He, on the other hand, informed Common how the car was stolen, noting that it was his second car stolen in a span of six months.

“I’m calling from CBC News,” said the journalist on the other end of the phone. “We’re doing an investigation into stolen vehicles, and I’m pretty sure I’m sitting in your vehicle … in West Africa.”

“Woah,” he replied. “I can’t believe it … that’s crazy.”

Within the same vicinity, a multitude of vehicles were discovered by journalists, several of which bore Canadian license plates and contained their respective provincial registration and insurance documents within the glove compartment.

It was determined that all of these vehicles had been reported stolen from the provinces of Ontario and Quebec. A recent report by the Canadian Financing and Leasing Association revealed that in the year 2021, over 27,000 vehicles were reported stolen in Ontario alone, equating to a vehicle theft occurring every 17 minutes.
