We Realized It During Season 6 Of YOLO- Ivan Quashigah Reacts To Drogba’s illness

Ivan Quashigah, the mastermind behind the popular series Things We Do For Love and YOLO, revealed that he and his team noticed a change in actor, John Bredu Peasah, also known as Drogba, during the filming of season 6 of YOLO.

The Ghanaian filmmaker mentioned that Peasah’s illness became apparent during that period, causing him to have difficulty standing while portraying his character in the series.

Quashigah emphasized that Farmhouse Productions, the production house behind YOLO, was dedicated to supporting Peasah without seeking public acknowledgement for its efforts.

He encouraged others to extend their assistance to the actor during this challenging period, underscoring the strong bond within the Farmhouse community.

“We have been in this battle with him right from the time he started, we got to know about it when we were filming season six. So if you watch season six very closely, you realize that in most of the scenes he was in, he was sitting. Because it was very difficult for him to stand. And ever since, we have been reaching out to him.

“We were there last week. But the thing is, for us at Farmhouse and also myself, we do not want to blow our horns and let people know what we are doing, so, we just want people to know we are part of him and he’s been part of us.

“So we are supporting him in all the ways that we can. And we urge other people to also try and reach out to him,” he said.

These statements were made by Quashigah during an interview with Andy Dosty on Hitz FM.

We’ve been in the battle with John Peasah (Drogba) since the beginning. The whole thing started in Season 6. If you watched the YOLO TV series in season 6, he was sitting in most of the scenes because he had difficulties with standing. We at FarmHouse do not want to blow our own horns but we are doing a lot for him. – Ivan Quashigah #DaybreakHitz #fyp #viral #yolo
