What Akufo-Addo Told Yvonne Nelson Ahead Of Dumsor Demonstration

More jaw-dropping revelations continue to emanate from Yvonne Nelson’s controversial “I Am Not Yvonne Nelson” book, which has taken over Ghana’s and other countries’ internet spaces.

Yvonne Nelson in the book, revealed fascinating facts about how she organized her famous “Dumsor Must Stop” protest.

Ms Nelson noted that while the then-opposition leader Nana Akufo Addo personally called her on the phone to praise her for organizing a protest against the incumbent government, President John Dramani Mahama felt uneasy and asked to meet with her.

Yvonne said she gently denied the invitation and reminded the president that if the meeting didn’t include the other leaders of the rally, she was not going to attend it.

Yvonne claimed that she politely declined the invitation and reminded the president to include the other organizers as well as the celebrities and public personalities who supported the cause.

Per the conversation Nana Akufo Addo told her that she was a true daughter of the land for masterminding, contextually, a revolution of some sort, reminding her that she has his full support and that of the entire country.
