Why I Can’t Drive For Long Hours And Distances – Bola Ray ‘Confesses’

Business mogul Bola Ray- whose real name is Nathaniel Anokye Adisi has revealed in an exclusive interview with Yen TV that he has a phobia for driving.

Bola Ray said he fears overspeeding, hence, he maintains an appreciable speed limit when he is behind the wheel. Essentially he said he doesn’t go beyond a certain mileage when he is traveling, and for this reason, he mentioned some places in Accra and beyond that he has never been to before.

From the conversation he had with Yen, it is obvious that Bola is afraid he might die in a car accident; hence he rarely drives. He said if he finds himself driving at any point, he does not cover a long distance and moves at a relatively slow pace.

Bola Ray obtained a Diploma in Public Administration from the University of Ghana Business School, followed by a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from Central University. He furthered his education by graduating with an MBA in Global Business and Sustainability from the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart of Milan (ALTIS) and the Catholic Institute of Business and Technology (CIBT) in 2015.

During his time as a student at the University of Ghana, Bola Ray hosted Top City Jam on Top Radio, before becoming the first African and Ghanaian to host Top of the Pops on BBC Radio. He then moved to Joy FM, where he hosted the Drive Time Show for 11 years, leading it to become the most influential drive time show on radio in Ghana.

He also co-hosted the live musical show Music Music on TV3, featuring leading Ghanaian musical artists. Bola Ray co-founded the EIB Network Group and became its chief executive officer, acquiring GHOne Television and several Ghanaian radio stations. He hosted the celebrity interview programme Starr Chat on Starr FM, where he interviewed Ghanaian political figures, businessmen, clergy, foreign ambassadors to Ghana, and academics. He also presented Revealed With Bola Ray, a TV programme focusing on luxury and lifestyle, which airs on GHOne Television.
