Epixode recently shared with the media and his fans the reason for the sacking of his longtime manager, Exhibit.

The talented Ghanaian musician who specialises in Dancehall music and until recently Highlife told journalist Kwame Dadzie on Joy Prime that his manager had misused his social media pages for commercial purposes without his consent, which was detrimental to his brand’s reputation.

He’s quoted as saying;

Per what our lawyers wrote, there was a sort of impersonation and it was not good for our brand. Because of the kind of work we do, we actually engage with people so I happened to have businesses with people that I didn’t know about as Epixode, I didn’t think it is good for the brand,” he said.

because he was handling my social media pages he had had businesses in the name of Epixode which the whole team didn’t know about and it was not looking good as time went on so we all had a very good understanding that we needed to move on.

In a related development, Epixode has said fatherhood changed his perception of his style of music and the kind of legacy that should shroud his brand.

The Ghanaian Dancehall and Highlife specialist discussed his musical path on TV3 New Day with co-hosts Berla Mundi and AJ Sarpong wherein he stated that becoming a father had changed him because he wanted his daughter to be happy with his musical creations.

I think when I had my daughter, she’s 5 years and will be 6 this year it opened me up to not just being a dad but the music. What I ask myself is 5 years from now will my daughter be proud to play my music when she is with her friends?? So you know then I can’t do slack music or certain type of music and that is where the growth stems froM.
