Why I Will Never Stop Mentioning The Holy Spirit – Dr Likee Shares Touching Story
Dr. Likee has shared his grass-to-grace story in an interview on Pure FM monitored by Tru News Report, conspicuously revealing how he had an encounter with the Holy Spirit that turned his life around while in prison.
The actor and comic creator, who also goes by the name Ras Nene said his struggles in life toughened him, but when his shenanigans sent him to prison, he spoke to God in silent prayer, and he answered him. Dr. Likee said he was so broke that he couldn’t afford to pay his house rent, although he was a mainstream celebrity.
He said he had indulged in galamsey and done all manner of jobs aside from acting, but he never made any headway in life. He said he ended up in prison for the second time when his creditor sent police after him.
He said when he prayed for divine intervention, the guy who got him arrested withdrew the case just as he was being processed for court, and that renewed his faith in God, and since then he has always relied on the Holy Spirit. Watch the full interview below;
Relatedly, Dr Likee recently said he gets emotional anytime he poses with his fans who are children for photos following the demise of his little daughter not too long ago.
Before becoming a skit maker, the actor who portrayed gangsterism in movies remarked that losing a child is an indescribable sadness and that it’s necessary to have a support structure to help with the grieving process.
Ras Nene admitted that playing with other children or posing for photos with the children of his admirers tends to bring to memory the toddler’s tragic passing. Ras Nene said that despite the excruciating agony of losing his daughter, he remains strong because he knows that God has His own plans.
The Kumawood actor lost his daughter in February, it will be recalled. Ras spoke about how the pain resurfaces anytime his fans, most of whom are kids, swarm around him for pictures when he goes to events.
