Wife Of John Kumah Exposes Nigel Gaisie Over Death Of Husband

Nigel Gaisie has once again sparked controversy after the death of the Deputy Minister of Finance and MP for Ejisu, John Kumah.

A video resurfaced showing Gaisie predicting Kumah’s death, leading to claims that he is a genuine man of God. However, Lilian, the wife of the deceased politician, has spoken out against Gaisie in a recent interview on Asaase Radio.

She revealed that True Word Prophetic Ministry International was a close family friend and had intimate knowledge of her husband’s terminal illness, which Gaisie allegedly used to make his prophecy.

Lilian Kumah stated that upon learning of Gaisie’s actions, they immediately severed ties with him.

“Nigel Gaisie was like a brother. He knows my late husband, lawyer John Kumah personally, one-on-one. We have sat in this house and eaten together several times. That is how far we go.

When he came from abroad to start a church in Ghana, he came to my church, Disciples of Christ Ministries and I did a programme with him dubbed “Let the Prophet Speak”.

“We know him very well and have been aware since November 2023 that the late John Kumah was seriously sick. My husband had a lot of respect for men of Ghana in this country and that included Nigel Gaisie when my husband and I thought he was a genuine man of God,” Apostle Lilian Kumah stated.

“Nigel Gaisie knew very well that my husband was terminally ill as far back as August 2023 but regardless of that, he stood on his altar on 31st December 2023 to lie through his supposed prophesy that a Ghanaian deputy minister will die in the year 2024. What does he want to achieve through these fake prophesies?” John Kumah’s widow questioned.

John Kumah died after a short illness on Thursday, March 7, 2024. He had been present in Parliament earlier the previous week and was scheduled to contribute to the Budget debate on Thursday and Friday. However, he had visited his constituency, Ejisu, in the Ashanti Region, to celebrate the Independence anniversary.

Unfortunately, his health worsened during this time. An ambulance was called to transport him to Accra, but his condition became critical during the journey.

As a result, the ambulance diverted to the Suhum Government Hospital, where he was pronounced dead on Thursday, March 7, 2024. His body has been taken to the 37 Military Hospital in Accra.
