You Can’t Insult Me And Go Scott Free- Martha Ankomah Refuses To Withdraw Lawsuit Against Lilwin

Martha Ankomah has said she is determined to pursue legal action against Lilwin for verbally attacking her in a viral video without any valid reason.

In her first public statement on the matter, during an exclusive interview with UTV, she expressed her strong disapproval of Lilwin’s words. She said that, as a firm believer in the rule of law, she is seeking justice to hold Lilwin accountable for his actions.

The actress emphasized that the court should address the offensive remarks made by Lilwin to set an example for others, especially as they are considered role models.

Martha clarified that she had never had any prior interaction or collaboration with Lilwin, making his sudden verbal assault even more perplexing to her. Despite the distress caused by Lilwin’s behaviour, Martha affirmed her readiness to proceed with the lawsuit.

She said that it took her a long time to establish and strengthen her brand, so she won’t let Lilwin tarnish it by involving her in a scandal. When questioned about settling the matter out of court if Lilwin pleads for forgiveness, she firmly stated that she would ensure he faces the consequences of his actions.

Lilwin recently recorded a video of himself expressing his anger towards actress Martha Ankomah. The reason behind his frustration was Martha’s alleged derogatory comments about Kumawood movies.

It is reported that Martha Ankomah declined an offer to be a part of a Kumawood project, stating that their storylines were terrible and their productions were inferior.

Lilwin, who is often seen as the face of Kumawood, strongly criticized Martha Ankomah for her remarks. He believed that instead of using foul language, Martha Ankomah could have simply declined the offer or asked for an exorbitant fee that would make it impossible for the producer to afford her.

In a heated tone, Lilwin expressed his disappointment, stating that Martha Ankomah had lost her relevance and was only making such comments to stay in the limelight.

He reminded her that A-list actresses like Van Vicker and Yvonne Nelson had previously worked in Kumawood, emphasizing that Martha was nobody compared to them.

Meanwhile, in a separate interview, Lilwin clarified that the footage was from a scene in a movie he was filming.

During an appearance on Daybreak Hitz on Hitz FM, Lil Win addressed the speculation surrounding the video, asserting that it was taken out of context and misinterpreted by viewers.

“The video I did is a movie. I was acting… I was not angry. I had done some makeup,” he explained, emphasizing the scripted nature of the sequence and expressing confidence in leaving the matter to be resolved through legal channels.

Looking ahead, Lil Win articulated his aspirations to expand his reach internationally, expressing a desire for investors to facilitate his journey towards broader recognition on the global stage.
