A Vote For Bawumia Means You Don’t Love Yourself—Rex Omar

Rex Omar strongly asserts that supporting Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia in the 2024 elections reflects a lack of self-love and concern for one’s family.

According to him, Bawumia’s lacklustre track record during his eight-year tenure alongside his ‘boss’ Nana Akufo-Addo leaves no room for optimism regarding his ability to bring fresh ideas to benefit the Ghanaian people. In an interview with Property FM, based in Cape Coast, he emphasized that voting for Bawumia signifies a disregard for the nation’s welfare.

He stated:

Someone that has governed this country with Akufo-Addo for over 7 to 8 years ago and all the things he said he couldn’t achieve any of them. Bawumia is now saying that we should vote for him to become the president of this country because he has got his own ideas. If you vote for such a person then it means you don’t have good intentions for this country and it shows you don’t love yourself and your family”.

Meanwhile, during his ‘Thank you’ tour at Nalerigu, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia expressed to a lively audience that John Dramani Mahama has nothing beneficial to offer the people of Ghana, and therefore his attempt to regain power will be thwarted.

The Vice President and Flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) also criticized Mahama’s 24-hour economy proposal, stating that he lacks innovative ideas. Bawumia believes that he represents the hopes and dreams of a new Ghana, while Mahama is a thing of the past.

“John Mahama is going round the whole country and promising everything to everybody. It is as if he has never been president of this country before. It is as if he has just landed from mass.

“When he was president, did he create jobs, Did he tackle corruption, Did he issue the Ghana card, Did he bring mobile money interoperability, did he bring the Ghana property address system, did he bring the zongo development fund, did he bring the teacher training allowance, did he bring free WiFi to schools, did he bring paperless ports, did he bring gold for oil, did he bring free shs?
