ABC News Confers ‘King Of Afrobeats’ On Davido
During a recent interview with ABC News, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, was bestowed with the title of ‘King of Afrobeats’.
This recognition comes at a time when there is a palpable rivalry between prominent artists such as Wizkid and Davido, vying for supremacy within the genre.

Davido attributed his unique style to his upbringing in Atlanta, where he found inspiration in renowned rappers such as Ludacris, Ja Rule, and Nelly. However, it was around the age of 14 that his interest in African music truly blossomed.
