Actress Fella Makafui Reveals Her Source Of Wealth

In a recent interview on TV3’s New Day with Berla Mundi, actress Fella Makafui shared insights into her wealth and success.

While promoting her new blockbuster movie Resonance, Fella Makafui discussed her various business ventures but emphasized that her main source of income lies in social media.

Fella Makafui highlighted the importance of social media as a lucrative platform for financial growth. She encouraged young individuals with computer and social media skills to utilize these tools to their advantage, just as she has done.

She emphasized the need to refrain from using social media for gossip and slander, instead urging people to monetize their online presence.

It is worth noting that Fella Makafui, who recently went through a divorce from her rapper husband Medikal, emphasised that despite having physical shops for her businesses, she generates 90% of her income through social media.

“I would say all these four businesses that I mention, 90% of the money I make comes from social media. So instead of wasting your time on one celebrity page and wanting to be like them, use the time to get better. It won’t be easy from the beginning but small, small you will get there,” she said.

Before this interview, Fella appeared on TV3’s Afternoon Show where she was interviewed by Anita Akufo as she opened up about her decision to leave the YOLO series.

She explained that she felt a strong sense of déjà vu with her character Serwaa, which made her uncomfortable.

Fella Makafui expressed her desire to portray the role of Emily, but unfortunately, she was not given the opportunity.

She therefore attributed her absence from the movie to the producer and director’s failure to assign her the desired role.

Makafui further revealed that before moving to Accra to pursue her dreams, she used to sell bread, and she didn’t want to continue playing a similar role in a movie.
