Ada Chiefs Fine NDC Parliamentary Candidate Over Disrespectful Comment

The fine, which includes two cartons of gin, two cartons of local gin (akpeteshie), three rams, soft drinks and an undisclosed amount of cash, followed a plea by the parliamentary candidate after he was banned from engaging in campaign activities in the area.

He is reported to have stated in a radio interview that “no chief exists in Ada” and was subsequently asked to render an apology for his utterance.
