New BBC Documentary Exposes Late Popular Nigerian Pastor TB Joshua For Rape, Other Crimes

The British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) has announced its intention to unveil a three-part investigative documentary shedding light on the alleged atrocities and sexual crimes committed by Pastor Temitope Balogun Joshua, commonly known as TB Joshua.

On June 5, 2021, Joshua sadly passed away at the age of 57. Throughout their investigation, the BBC conducted interviews with no less than 30 former members and employees of the Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN). The first instalment of this documentary series is scheduled for release on January 8.

This trilogy of documentaries delves into the hidden life of the late founder of SCOAN, revealing disturbing accounts of abuse, harassment, rape, manipulation, and staged miracles.

According to sources within the BBC, the church was allegedly aware of these allegations but failed to initiate any investigations. These sources claim that the sexual crimes are believed to have occurred over two decades.

A portion of the documentary exposed how SCOAN concealed the truth about the collapse of one of their guesthouses in 2014 from their congregation. Emmanuel TV repeatedly showed a video clip of the structure with what appeared to be an aircraft flying over it.

The Lagos Times reported that this shocking documentary will have its premiere at an exclusive private screening on January 8th. The prestigious Transcorp Hilton Hotel in Abuja has been selected as the venue for this event. After the private screening, the documentary will be released to the general public as a 3-part series.

The fact that influential figures from the religious and social spheres have received exclusive invitations speaks volumes about the significance of this investigation.

The BBC’s extensive work in Nigeria over the course of two years promises to have global repercussions and positions this investigation as one of the largest ever conducted by the BBC in the country.

Sources suggest that the deceased clergyman may have been aware of the upcoming exposé, leading to speculation that the stress caused by this revelation could have triggered a stroke, ultimately resulting in his death.

The timing of his passing adds a chilling element to the unfolding scandal, casting a shadow over the final days of the once-respected religious leader.

According to the BBC, the documentary will present meticulously gathered evidence that implicates the pastor in serious human rights violations.

The allegations range from horrifying reports of torture to distressing accounts of rape and coerced abortions, connecting the late pastor to a network of criminal activities that have left victims traumatized across multiple continents.

This impending scandal has already sent shockwaves throughout the entire nation, as the influence of the deceased pastor extended far beyond the realm of religion.

As the scandal continues to unravel, questions arise regarding the late pastor’s legacy, now tarnished by allegations that have the potential to redefine his place in history.

The BBC’s ambitious investigative documentary is poised to create waves not only in Nigeria but also beyond, challenging the prevailing narratives surrounding influential religious figures and emphasizing the urgent need to address human rights abuses, even within the most sacred institutions.
