AI-Generated Song by Drake & Weeknd Takes Internet By Storm, But Could Be A Tech Startup’s Marketing Ploy

A new AI-generated song featuring phoney versions of Drake and The Weeknd has gone viral, but it may be a marketing ploy by a tech startup.

The song, “Heart on My Sleeve,” has been viewed millions of times on various social media platforms, especially TikTok and Twitter, and has generated considerable chatter among music enthusiasts.

Nevertheless, some Twitter users have hypothesised that the song is not a genuine collaboration between Drake and The Weeknd, but rather a marketing ploy by a SaaS startup.

The fact that the track was created using AI programming indicates that there was little to no human involvement in the production of what sounds like a cracker, with utterances that are identical to those made by Drizzy and Abel. In other words, AI’s efficacy will be terrifyingly high.

You can hear the well-known Young Metro Booming intro right away. Then, Drake introduces the initial verse over a bass-heavy club beat. It is extremely effective, and it sounds like something Drake may have written/rapped. The same applies to the chorus by Weeknd.

At first glance, this may appear to be a leak. However, Twitter detectives assert that it is wholly the work of a robot, which, if true, is terrifying, especially for the labels.

Some music fans are disappointed that the song is not a legitimate collaboration, while others are impressed by the quality of the artificial intelligence-generated music.

The speculation has been exacerbated by the fact that the song is of high quality and sounds like it could have been produced by the two artistes in collaboration.
