Amerado ‘Fights’ Ghana Music Awards Organizers Over ‘Rejection’ Of Original Version Of ‘Kwaku Ananse’ Track

Controversies have surrounded the nominations of the Telecel Ghana Music Awards (formerly Vodafone Ghana Music Awards), leading to questions about why certain categories did not include highly anticipated nominations.

Amerado, who had one of the biggest songs in 2023, has similarly expressed his concerns to the award scheme’s board regarding his song Kwaku Ananse (the original version) not receiving any nominations.

In a tweet on X, Amerado expressed his confusion as to why his popular song did not make it into any category for consideration.

Furthermore, fans have also been curious about why the hit songs were not included in categories such as Popular Song of the Year and Songwriter of the Year.
