Black Sherif’s Songs Touch The Soul—DJ Khaled

DJ Khaled expressed his admiration for Ghanaian rapper and songwriter Black Sherif, stating that his music deeply resonates with the soul.

He made this known when Ghanaian YouTube content creator Wode Maya unexpectedly met him on the streets of Barbados while filming content for his YouTube channel.

Although the interaction seemed more like a casual conversation than a formal interview, DJ Khaled displayed humility and warmth as he graciously answered Wode Maya’s quick questions.

Upon learning that Wode Maya hails from Ghana and had witnessed his videos jamming to Black Sherif’s songs, DJ Khaled enthusiastically acknowledged his admiration for the talented Ghanaian artiste.

Furthermore, he graciously accepted Wode Maya’s invitation to visit Ghana shortly, eager to connect with his fans in the country.

In 2022, DJ Khaled took to his Instagram page to share a video featuring Black Sherif’s music. Shortly after, the renowned Grammy award-winning record producer was spotted enjoying the vibes of ‘Kwaku The Traveller’, a track by Blacko.

As DJ Khaled cruised through the streets, he played the song in his car, capturing the moment on video.

In the footage shared with his massive following of 29 million on Instagram, DJ Khaled couldn’t contain his excitement and exclaimed, “Big tune!”

He later shared the video on his IG page writing: “@blacksherif_ 🔥🆙 KEEP GOING Music that touch your soul“.

The video has since garnered over 1.5 million views and about 5,000 comments from Ghanaians and other music lovers around the world.
