Boomplay: Black Sherif beats Sarkodie, Stonebwoy, Shatta Wale To Become Most Streamed GH Artiste
Black Sherif has had a remarkable year, finishing 2023 on a high note by surpassing his older colleagues, such as Stonebwoy and Shatta Wale to become the most streamed artist on Boomplay.
With an impressive following of 322,000 on the platform, Black Sherif has amassed a staggering total of 424.3 million streams, triumphing over Sarkodie and Stonebwoy.
Sarkodie claimed the second spot as the platform’s second-most-streamed artiste with a total of 179.7 million streams. Meanwhile, Stonebwoy secured the third position with 122.9 million streams on Boomplay.
Black Sherif’s dominance extended beyond being the most streamed artist, as his album, “The Villain I Never Was,” emerged as the most streamed album on Boomplay and similarly earned the spot for the Most Streamed song for the year under review.
