Brad Pitt Sells Los Feliz Estate After Three Decades Of Ownership For Nearly $40M

Actor Brad Pitt has sold his Los Feliz mansion in Los Angeles for nearly $40 million, according to sources. Pitt had owned the property for almost 30 years, having purchased it in 1994 for $1.7 million.

The estate spans nearly two acres and includes a 6,692-square-foot Craftsman main house, a swimming pool, a tennis court, and a skating rink.

The property was once home to Pitt’s ex-wife, actress Angelina Jolie, and their six children. The two, who tied the knot in 2014 and finalized their divorce in 2019 — spent time at the home while in L.A. with their six children: Maddox, 21, Pax, 19, Zahara, 18, Shiloh, 16, Vivienne, 14, and Knox, 14.

Pitt reportedly sold the property off-market, and the deal was done for around the asking price. The actor is said to be looking for something smaller in the Los Angeles area.

Last year, the 59-year-old Oscar winner purchased a $40 million ocean view estate in Carmel Highlands. The Los Feliz mansion was one of several properties owned by Pitt, who has bought and sold numerous properties over the years. The actor has not publicly commented on the sale of the property.
