BREAKING NEWS: Massive Tornado Rips Through Durban’s Inanda Township In South Africa

A tornado has ripped through Durban’s Inanda Township, destroying homes and displacing innumerable residents as heavy rains and winds continue to pummelled the region. As hundreds of individuals become homeless, heartbreaking scenarios emerge.

A mini-cyclone struck the region of Inanda, and paramedics are currently attempting to assist any injured victims. Two people are reported to have sustained minor imjuries

Numerous residences have sustained extensive damage; the fire department and other emergency services are advising residents to avoid the area.

Local authorities have also been dispatched to assist.

KwaZulu-Natal emergency services spokesperson Robert McKenzie confirmed the injured patients were taken to hospital.

“Paramedics have treated two patients in the area and have transported them to hospital for further care. They were in a container which overturned during the incident.”

At the same time, the KZN Co-operative Governance Department warned of severe rains in parts of the province.
