DJ Khaled Expresses A Strong Desire To Work With Tems

Grammy award winner, DJ Khaled expressed a strong desire to collaborate with Nigerian afrobeats superstar Tems.

The “God Did” hit maker was asked if there is anybody that he hasn’t worked with yet that he would like to, and he said,

Man, I would love to work with Andre 3000, and I would love to work with Tems. Ooh, yeah.

I wanna work with Tem. I want to do something special with her. I love her. I love her energy. You know what I mean? I love what she’s about and I love her music, and I love how pure and real she is.

And you know, her music comes from her heart and soul. You can feel it. And I love how she rep her people. You know what I mean? So I just, I’m a fan. You know what I’m saying? So I would love to work with Tems.

Earlier this weekend at the Grammys, when the two first met, he told Tems that he is a big fan, after which he outstretched his arms and signalled for a warm embrace with and congratulated her for winning her first Grammy.

Tems won in the category of “Best Melodic Rap Performance” for her vocal and signwriting work on Future’s “Wait For U,” which also features Drake.

We just can’t wait to hear the collaboration between these two superstars: Tems, whose real name is Temilade Openiyi, a Nigerian Afrobeats singer, shoots into the mainstream after featuring on Wizkid’s “Essence.” Khaled Mohammed Khaled, known professionally as DJ Khaled, is an American DJ, record executive, record producer, and rapper. Khaled’s thirteenth studio album, “God Did,” which was released on August 26, 2022, received positive reviews and a total of six Grammy nominations for Song Of The Year (“God Did”), Album Of The Year (“God Did”), Best Rap Song (“God Did”), Best Rap Album (“God Did”), Best Rap Performance (“God Did”), and Best Melodic Rap Performance (“God Did”) (“Beautiful”).
