Doctors Thought I Wouldn’t Make It-Krayzie Bones Speaks After Cheating Death

Rapper Krayzie Bone faced a critical situation during his recent hospitalization, and according to the rapper, doctors expressed doubts about his survival.

In 2016, the Bone Thugs-N-Harmony member was diagnosed with a rare condition known as pulmonary sarcoidosis. Despite previous hospitalizations, Krayzie Bone had always managed to overcome them. However, in an interview with Spin Magazine published on Tuesday (December 12), he revealed that this latest hospitalization posed a significant threat to his life.

“I didn’t even know how serious it was until I woke up. They informed me of everything that was going on,” he said. “The doctors in the ICU, I don’t know if it’s what they see every day, but their outlook was grim. They were like, ‘He might not make it out of here. The lung function on the left side is completely dead. He will need a lung transplant.’ This is everything they’re telling my family when I’m in the process of waking up.”

He continued: “When I wake up, everybody’s looking grim. They tell me this and I’m like, ‘OK.’ They were gearing me up for a lung transplant, so they sent me right over to the Ronald Reagan Center because my primary doctor, when she heard them talking about a transplant, she was like, ‘Wait, let’s slow down here. This is my patient. I just had a visit with him and he just had one of the best breathing tests. We need to slow this down. I don’t think he needs a lung transplant.’ That’s why I was in the hospital for so long. They were doing a whole evaluation.”

Back in October, the Bone Thugs-N-Harmony rapper took to Instagram to reveal that he “won the battle” after fighting for his life for almost a week and a half.

“Just fought for life literally for 9 days straight,” he wrote underneath a photo of him in a hospital bed hooked up to oxygen and an IV drip. “And I only won the battle this time because I know Jehovah God was with me every step of the way fighting for me.

“Never take life for granted enjoy it while you have it! Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers trust me I needed every last one of them – KB.”

Pulmonary sarcoidosis is a rare disease caused by inflammation. It usually occurs in the lungs and lymph nodes, but it can occur in almost any organ.

Sarcoidosis in the lungs is called pulmonary sarcoidosis. It causes small lumps of inflammatory cells in the lungs. These lumps are called granulomas and can affect how the lungs work. The granulomas generally heal and disappear on their own.

But, if they don’t heal, the lung tissue can remain inflamed and become scarred and stiff. This is called pulmonary fibrosis. It changes the structure of the lungs and can affect your breathing. Bronchiectasis can also occur. This is when pockets form in the air tubes of the lung and become infected. But, these problems are not common.
