Don’t Let Anger Make You Cheat- Counselor Charlotte Oduro

Counsellor Charlotte Oduro has cautioned women in her recent counselling message to refrain from letting anger lead them to betray their husbands.

She emphasizes that a married woman who chooses to cheat as a response to an unfaithful husband will only cause more problems. Instead, she suggests that women facing such difficulties in their marriage should contemplate leaving rather than giving in to the temptation of infidelity as a means of revenge.

“I want women to understand that resorting to infidelity won’t resolve their issues. Don’t allow your anger to lead you to ruin your future.

“If you find it unbearable to cope with your husband’s infidelity, seek counselling or consider ending the marriage. Don’t respond to wrongdoing with more wrongdoing,” she advised in an interview with Oyerepa FM.

Counselor Charlotte expressed her disappointment with the societal double standard that tolerates men’s infidelity while harshly judging women who may stray due to emotional distress.

“Many women are reacting to men’s infidelity out of hurt, but this shouldn’t be the case. They’ve noticed that society often overlooks men’s affairs but condemns women’s, so they feel compelled to retaliate,” she added.
