Drake Wins $1.84m After Placing Bet On Israel Adesanya

Drake has a history of placing bets on UFC fights; occasionally, these bets have paid off for him, and occasionally, they haven’t.

Fans may recall that when Kamaru Usman lost to Leon Edwards at UFC 278 on August 20, 2022, Drake had put $200K on him. When Tommy Fury was defeated on February 26th, he recently bet $400K on Jake Paul.

Drake bet a total of $900,000 on Adesanya to dethrone UFC Middleweight Champion Alex Pereira in just two wagers. He placed a total of $500,000 on Masvidal to defeat Gilbert Burns.

Adesanya defeated longtime foe Pereira with a stunning knockout in the second round. Remember that the Brazilian fighter defeated the Last Stylebender last year to win the title.

His win snaps a losing record against Pereira of 0-3 games. Drake bet $400,000 that he would defeat him via knockout.

The Canadian rapper received $1.84 million from the wager after Adesanya’s decisive victory. The Last Stylebender took advantage of Pereira’s celebration after knocking him out as he watched him struggle on the canvas.
