Fantana’s Mum ‘Pops Champagne’ Over Her Role In Netflix’s Young, Famous & African Series
Singer Fantana has landed a role in Netflix’s Young, Famous & African Season 2 and her influential mother can’t keep quiet about it.
The famed streaming platform informed their cherished viewers on Twitter about the impending season and the show’s launch which is scheduled for Friday, May 19, writing-
“Bring the champaaaagne darling, there’s some new faces to toast to! Season 2 of Young, Famous & African is coming to your screens on 19 May, exclusively on Netflix. #YoungFamousAfrican,” the show posted on Twitter.
Fantana’s mom, Dorcas Affo-Toffey, the Member of Parliament for Jomoro Constituency in the Western Region, stormed Facebook to bask in the euphoria of seeing her daughter living her dreams.
She posted on Facebook: “I am so ecstatic to see my daughter Fantana live her dreams. Proud is an understatement! There is nothing you cannot do, never stop dreaming and believing what you can achieve. God has been good. “Catch my daughter as she represents Ghana on Season 2 of Young, Famous & African. Coming soon, May 19th.”
Fantana’s real name is name Francine Nyanko Koffi. She is a Ghanaian Highlife and Afro dancehall singer, songwriter, and entrepreneur. She is best known for hit songs like “Girls Hate On Girls”, and “New African Lady“, among others. She was previously signed on Rufftown Records which also houses Wendy Shay.
