Fantana Is Not The Biggest Female Dancehall Artiste In Ghana – Bullgod

CEO of Bullhaus Entertainment and showbiz pundit Bullgod, formerly known as Bulldog, has stated that American-born Ghanaian Afro dancehall musician Fantana is not the biggest female dancehall artiste in Ghana.

This comes after Afro-dancehall musician Fantana made a statement during her introduction on the latest season of the popular African reality TV series, “Young, Famous, and African,” which is now streaming on Netflix.

The 25-year-old performer, who relocated to Ghana after completing her studies, claimed to be the biggest female dancehall artiste in Ghana.

Speaking on UTV’s showbiz night, Bullgod stated that he wouldn’t have even listed Fantana as one of the female dancehall artiste in Ghana.

“Let me check my books; even if she hadn’t said it, I wouldn’t have listed her up. Don’t you understand what I’m saying? I do reggae and dancehall; I follow it. You see, reggae and dancehall are whole genres that not a lot of people follow. Now she crosses over. And how did she become the biggest?.” he stated.

Bullgod believes that Fantana is not the biggest female dancehall artiste since she does not have enough songs to back up her claim.

Bullgod believes the late Ebony is the biggest female dancehall artiste in Ghana to this day because, despite her absence, he makes references to her extensive records as proof that she is the industry’s top draw.

“How many works has she done? Do you understand what I’m saying? I don’t have a problem if she says she’s the biggest female dancehall artiste in Ghana, but if you ask for my opinion, she’s not. I can say I’m the biggest in the space, but somebody else will also say I’m not the biggest, so I understand and respect her view and everything, but if you put the issue on the ground and weigh the matter, she’s not, and you need a lot of catalogue to do that.

“Look, if I’m going to say somebody like Ebony is a dancehall artise till today, her catalogue is there to show, even if she’s not even here. Bless her memory, she is one of the biggest ever till today. If Sakodie, Stonebwoy, and Shatta Wale say they are big, there are works to show.” he added
