Fatawu Issahaku Named In English Championship Team-Of-The-Season

Abdul Fatawu Issahaku’s explosive debut in the Championship has earned him a spot in the English Championship Team of the Season, selected by SofaScore, highlighting his exceptional skills on the field.

The young Ghanaian winger, who joined Leicester City on loan from Sporting CP last summer, wasted no time in leaving his mark in the league. He quickly became an integral part of the team’s lineup, despite being a newcomer.

Issahaku, who impressed Leicester fans with seven goals and 13 assists in 42 appearances across all competitions, was named Young Player of the Year.

Last month, Issahaku made history as the first Ghanaian to score a hat-trick in the Championship, netting three goals against Southampton in a 5-0 victory at home.
