Ghanaian Gospel Singer, KODA Is Dead

According to a sad report obtained by Tru News Report, famed Ghanaian gospel singer, KODA, has passed away.

At this moment, the cause of his death remains unknown and is yet to be determined.

Reliable sources have mentioned that he had been battling undisclosed health issues for quite some time, which explains his absence from the public eye.

The news of his demise emerged minutes ago today Sunday, April 21, 2024, leaving fans of gospel music and Ghanaians in a state of shock.

Many individuals have already begun expressing their grief and sharing heartfelt tributes for him on various online platforms.

KODA collaborated with others to co-write, mix, master, and produce the remarkable album, Awurade Ei, for KNUST’s “God’s Instruments” at KODED studios in Takoradi, Ghana.

This album garnered significant recognition within the country, thanks to its outstanding tracks such as “Awurade Ei” (“Se Woma Wonsa Soa”), “Tumi,” and “Onyame Ye D’awase.”

Additionally, he made a name for himself as a producer through his work on Nii Okai’s Moko Be and Gye W’ayeyi albums.

KODA’s talent and expertise have led him to collaborate with numerous gospel artists both in and outside of Ghana, including notable names like Nii Okai, Pastor Joseph Gyebi, Danny Nettey, Pastor Joe Beecham, Daughters of Glorious Jesus, Joyful Way Inc., Pastor Helen Yawson, Yaw Osei-Owusu, Ike Nanor, Eugene Zuta, Jesse Jenkins, Diana Hamilton, and Calvis Hammond, among others.

Until his death, KODA is married to Ewurama Dua Anto, who also sings. They had 3 children (2 sons and a daughter).
