How To Watch Nomination Ceremony Of 2024 Grammy’s

The nominees for the 66th Annual Grammy Awards will be done on November 10 in a livestream event featuring the 13 previous winners. The event can be watched on YouTube and live.Grammy.com.

A special presentation will commence the nominations ceremony, during which the nominees for the general field and select other categories will be unveiled.

While the ceremony is in progress, videos announcing the nominees in the remaining categories will be posted to live.Grammy.com and YouTube. The full list of nominees will be published on Grammy.com immediately after the presentation.

They introduced a new category for African and Afrobeat music to the annual awards scheme. There will be three additional categories at the annual awards ceremony in 2024, one of which is Best African Music Performance. The other two are for Best Pop Dance Recording and Best Alternative Jazz Album, respectively.

The various musical traditions of the continent, including their melodic, harmonic, and rhythmic aspects, will be honored in this section. Among the genres that may be included are Afrobeat, Afro-fusion, Afro-Pop, Afrobeats, Alte, Amapiano, Bongo Flava, Genge, Kizomba, Chimurenga, High Life, Fuji, Kwassa, Ndombolo, Mapouka, Ghanaian Drill, Afro-House, South African Hip-Hop, and Ethio Jazz.

It’s a huge deal that there’s now a category specifically for “Best African Music Performance,” since it means African musicians may finally get their music heard all around the world.

This is the schedule for the 10th of November, detailing when everything will happen. There may be some flexibility in the times listed.
