Highlife Legend Kaakyire Kwame Appiah Survives Ghastly Accident
Renowned highlife musician Kaakyire Kwame Appiah narrowly escaped a fatal outcome in a ghastly motor accident that occurred at Nkawkaw, Eastern Region.
The shocking scene was captured in a video recorded by the artist himself and subsequently shared on Angel TV’s Twitter handle.
The footage depicts a severely damaged car lying upside down in the middle of the road, revealing the extent of the accident.

Kaakyire Kwame Appiah recounted the terrifying experience, attributing the mishap to a combination of wet road conditions, the poor state of the road, and a brake failure, all of which led to him losing control of the vehicle on Tuesday, January 9.
Despite the severity of the crash, Kaakyire Kwame Appiah conveyed relief by confirming that all four occupants of the vehicle, including himself, survived the accident with minor injuries. He shared the panic-filled moment when the car lost control, recalling how he fervently called on “Jesus, Jesus” during the ordeal.
“I was driving along the Nkawkaw dual carriage road in my car with 3 others. It had slightly rained and some parts of the road were not good. All of a sudden the car lost control and I started shouting “Jesus, Jesus,” he narrated.
Assuring his fans about his well-being, Kaakyire Kwame Appiah mentioned that everyone involved in the accident had been promptly rushed to the hospital for medical attention.

“Everyone in the car is alive and has been rushed to the hospital,” he said
Despite the distressing circumstances, he emphasized that he was in good health and expressed gratitude that the incident did not result in more severe consequences.
