How Mahama Saved Life Of ICGC Pastor- Eastwood Anaba Shares Story
Rev. Joseph Eastwood Anaba, the president of the Eastwood Anaba Ministries (EAM) has shared a gripping story of how then president of Ghana, John Dramani Mahama saved the life of an International Central Gospel Church (ICGC) pastor.
Perhaps to illustrate how humane the former president was, which he extended to perceived enemies like Pastor Mensah Otabil (the founder and leader of ICGC), Anaba recounted that he was in Nigeria during one of his pastoral missions when he received a call from Pastor Mensah Otabil requesting a favour.
Otabil told him over the line that one of his subordinate pastors had been involved in a ghastly accident in the North and needed to be transported back to Accra to receive medical care immediately; otherwise, he could die. Anaba, who is a good friend of the president, called him on the phone and pleaded with him for an air ambulance to aid the injured pastor. The president granted his request and asked the air force commander to assist Anaba with whatever he wanted.
He said that through the collaboration, the life of the pastor was saved. Pastor Eastwood Anaba made this new revelation while preaching to his congregation to explore the theme shrouding his sermon for that particular Sunday service.
Joseph Eastwood Anaba was born on May 10, 1961, in Bolgatanga, Ghana, to Ghanaian parents. He received his secondary education at Presbyterian Boys’ Senior High School and later pursued a degree in pharmacy at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Ghana. During his time at the university, he met his wife, Rosemond, who was studying biological science.
They married in 1988 and have been married for over 26 years, raising four children together. Reverend Rosemond Anaba is a strong supporter of her husband’s vision to reposition God’s people through revival for the return of Jesus Christ. She is a sought-after speaker at women’s conferences and groups worldwide, having been involved in Christian ministry throughout her adult life.
As the vice president of Eastwood Anaba Ministries and director of the Fountain Gate International School in Bolgatanga, Rosemond Anaba is committed to promoting excellence in all spheres of life.
Reverend Joseph Eastwood Anaba is recognized as one of the end-time Ministry Gifts to the Body of Christ. He is a powerful preacher of the Word, a mentor, and a father to those under his ministry. His message emphasizes the Holy Ghost, righteousness, discipline, and order in the Body of Christ.
