Sam George has criticized the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) for allegedly using taxpayer’s money to erect large billboards featuring quotes attributed to John Dramani Mahama.
In recent days, social media posts highlighting the unfulfilled promises made by Nana Akufo Addo and Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia have been displayed, serving as a reminder of their deceitful actions.
This has sparked a counter-campaign, with billboards now showcasing news articles about NDC presidential candidate John Dramani Mahama. Notably, Kow Essuman, a prominent NPP lawyer, took a jab at Sam George by sharing photos of these billboards on Twitter and tagging his colleague Felix Owusu Kwakye.
Kow Essuman wrote:
Ebi like @receiptsguy , you get competition oh. Knock, knock! @FelixKwakyeOfo1 , please tell your boss that he has to give Receipts Guy more money oh.
In response, the Member of Parliament for Ningo Prampram expressed concern over the NPP’s resort to crude tactics in an attempt to cover up their incompetence. He wrote:
Wow! You spend our taxpayers money to do billboards from blogs and websites of cronies in response to the failures and promises your Bosses made? This is not only pathetic but desperate. Y’all have lost the plot! Good graces! 🦁😡🇬🇭
