I Do No Workout- Rapper Lil Wayne Says

According to Lil Wayne, his secret to remaining healthy over the years has nothing to do with working out and everything to do with what he eats.

The Young Money boss recently spoke with Apple Music 1’s Zane Lowe about everything from his most recent song, “Kant Nobody,” which features DMX, to his eagerly awaited 15th studio album, Tha Carter VI.

When the conversation shifted to more private topics, Weezy disclosed that he’s been able to maintain his health by watching his diet because of the impact of his mother.

“When I was 19 I moved to Miami and my mom is a chef and she was very happy for the move because New Orleans is crazy,” Lil Wayne said. “One thing she really wanted me to do was get a personal chef. So therefore you’re not just eating anything.”

“So from the age of 19 to now, I’ve always had a personal chef,” he continued. “I haven’t eaten any fast food forever. I don’t know what McDonalds smell like. Only gyms I know is Jim Jones. I can’t lift a weight. I don’t do no workout.”

Lil Wayne used the moment to talk about Billboard and VIBE’s Top 50 Greatest Rappers of All Time list during his Apple Music 1 appearance, explaining that he is simply not concerned with the ranking as he’s confident that everyone knows he’s really the G.O.A.T. “Man, who the hell is before me?”

Wayne questioned. “Was the list including ALL Hip Hop, like before and after as well? I can deal with that… I will tell you that I am a muthafuckin’ one. Everybody whose names you named, they also know I’m number one. Go ask ’em. They know what it is.”
