I Don’t Care – Nana Ama Mcbrown Reacts To Age Rumors

Nana Ama McBrown has slammed individuals who continue to question her age, as they always claim she is older than she claims.

The debate intensified recently when actress Pascaline Edwards revealed in an interview with Pulse Ghana that she is about to turn 54 and is eager to take on more acting opportunities. Edwards expressed her desire for Ghanaian producers to give her a chance, as she feels she has been overlooked for roles for a significant period.

“I may look youthful, but they’ve decided I’m too old. I’m barely 53, soon to be 54, and I still have more energy and freshness than many younger actors. So, I implore the casting directors to consider me,” Pascaline earlier remarked.

There has been speculation among certain individuals that Nana Ama McBrown and Pascaline might belong to the same age group.

Doubts have arisen regarding McBrown’s claim of being in her forties. It has been proposed that McBrown’s extensive tenure in the film industry suggests she could be a contemporary of Pascaline.

Mcbrown has shared her thoughts on the current matter that has been loosely hanging on her neck for quite some time.

According to her, Pascaline Edwards began her acting career before she (Mcbrown) entered the industry.

She therefore said in terms of both age and experience, Pascaline possesses an advantage.

However, she asserted that if individuals persist in questioning her age, they could even claim she is 85 years old, and she wouldn’t have any objections towards it.

“Pascaline was already making waves with her films like ‘A Stab in the Back’ when I hadn’t made my screen debut. If you want to think of me as an 85-year-old, that’s fine by me. Ultimately, these opinions don’t affect me. They don’t diminish my bank balance in the slightest,” she said on her Onua TV program.
