I Have Not ‘Run Away’ From Ghana- Kwesi Arthur Clarifies

Rapper Kwesi Arthur has clarified that he has not permanently relocated abroad, as rumoured in certain circles. He explained that, as an artiste aiming for global recognition, he occasionally travels abroad to enhance his skills and expand his fanbase.

During an interview with 3 Music, he addressed the speculation about quitting music and relocating to the United States of America.

Kwesi Arthur mentioned that there have been instances where he has spent extended periods in London without anyone knowing.

He said that although he frequently engages in such activities, this particular incident became public without his knowledge, leading to unnecessary attention.

“I didn’t relocate, I am somebody who sees himself as a global individual. There have been periods when I’ve been in London for like 2 months and no one knows. I’ve been doing this often but I think this one leaked and people are making a fuss about it. It is rather unfortunate.

The whole period too I was dropping stuff. I was making music and working with other producers. It felt someway,” he clarified.

In other Kwesi Arthur news, Deloris Frimpong Manso, also known as Delay recently recommended him to Meek Mill, hours after the latter took to Twitter to inquire from his fans in Ghana and Nigeria about which artiste they believe would be a perfect fit for a collaborative project.

Tru News News had previously revealed that Meek Mill expressed his admiration for African artistes, particularly those from Ghana and Nigeria and reached out to his African fans, seeking recommendations for a talented musician from these countries to collaborate with on an upcoming joint project.

Engaging directly with his fans, Meek Mill urged them to share the names of artistes they believe would be a perfect fit for an album alongside him.

Encouraging active participation, he requested that his fans leave their preferred candidates in the comment section of his post.

Swiftly, Delay associated Kwesi Arhtur’s name, asserting to Meek Mill that he is the prime choice among Ghana’s pool of skilled rappers.
