The CEO of Menzgold, Nana Appiah Mensah, commonly known as NAM 1, has stated that he is taking the greatest blow as a result of the continuing crisis, in which victims are persistently demanding justice for their lost money.
He emphasized that he had lost everything due to the company’s demise. “If you want to crown the biggest loser in all of this thing, I am the one, because I lost everything: I lost all my properties, and I don’t even have a car of my own in this country.”
On Monday, August 22, 2023, this information became public during a discussion on Twitter Space. Amid a myriad of accusations against him, Nana Appiah Mensah chose this forum to set the record straight and assure his customers that he has not personally benefited from their money.
“If one person has lost that one account, it means good has to come to the biggest loser of the biggest loser.” My mom invested, my sister’s invested, my wife invested, and my in-laws invested. Right? All my friends invested, I invested, and I have really great relations in Spain and in Europe, and elsewhere who invested and referred other people to invest.”

In response to allegations that some affected customers have died and others have had their marriages and health deteriorate as they struggle to make ends meet under mounting debt, he admitted that he has become the scapegoat in the complicated narrative behind Menzgold’s collapse.
Nana Appiah Mensah has expressed regret at not intervening sooner to stop the increasing situation and has expressed sympathy for those who have been negatively affected by the financial instability caused by the collapse of Menzgold.
