I Spend GHC20,000 On Fuel Every Week For My 10 School Buses—Lilwin
Ghanaian musician and actor Lilwin recently had a conversation with Geovani on TV3, where he disclosed the amount of money he allocates for fueling his school buses.
In addition to this, he shared the driving force behind establishing the school, explaining that his lack of financial resources prevented him from receiving a formal education during his childhood.
Furthermore, Lilwin emphasized his commitment to making education accessible by ensuring that school fees are affordable for parents. In his words, he understands the importance of providing an opportunity for children to attend school and strives to make it feasible for families.
When discussing the impact of economic hardships on his finances, Lilwin revealed that he spends between GHC 3,000 and GHC 4,000 on fuel for each bus every week. As the number of students has increased, he recognizes the need for additional buses to transport them to school daily.
Not too long ago, Lilwin highlighted the fact that the media’s speculations about students of his school failing massively are baseless, as the results of the BECE demonstrate the success of the students at Great Minds International School.
He expressed his disappointment with the media for spreading false information and tarnishing the reputation of the school.
In his Instagram post, Lilwin praised Oheneba Boateng for his exceptional performance and congratulated him on his admission to Prempeh College. He emphasized that this achievement is a testament to the high standard of education provided by Great Minds International School.
Lilwin also took the opportunity to commend the entire class of 2023 for their remarkable achievements. He acknowledged their hard work, dedication, and perseverance, which led to their outstanding results in the BECE. He encouraged other students to follow in their footsteps and strive for excellence in their academic pursuits.
By sharing the impressive results and placement slip of Oheneba Boateng, Lilwin aimed to refute the media’s claims and prove that the students at Great Minds International School are not failing but excelling in their academic endeavours. He wanted to set the record straight and restore the school’s reputation, which had been unfairly tarnished by the media’s speculations.
