I want to do a collaboration with Stonebwoy again – Kelvin Boy

Contemporary Highlife and Afrobeats super star Kelvin Boy has stated that he is willing to work with Dancehall musician Stonebwoy, if the chance presents itself.

According to a Guide Radio interview that was shared on Twitter, Kelvyn Boy expressed excitement about the possibility of collaborating with Stonebwoy for a number of reasons.

Kelvyn Boy went on to explain why he wanted to collaborate with Stonebwoy once more, saying that he wants to show the public that he has no beef with Stonebwoy and that he thinks Stonebwoy’s participation would help market his songs.

“The only Ghanaian artist I need on my song for a lot of reasons is Stonebwoy. For a lot of reasons because I want to sing with him again, I want to have that feeling with him again, I want to clear people’s thoughts and I want to make music; I want to make money. I know when people see a song by myself and Stonebwoy, people will rush to listen to it. So, for business-wise and whatever, I just want to make music with Stonebwoy again,” said.

In 2018, Kelvyn Boy signed with Stonebwoy’s label, Burniton Music Group. After a year of working together, rumours had it that Stonebwoy was fighting with one of his signees and proteges, Kelvyn Boy. The Bhim Nation President, however, was posting mysterious comments on social media concerning Kelvyn Boy’s lack of gratitude. After the foundation of their friendship and professional relationship collapsed, Stonebwoy sacked Kelvyn Boy from Burniton Music Group.

In a recent interview with Amansan Krakye on Cape Coast’s Property FM, Stonebwoy said publicly that he has lost interest in helping young artistes develop their careers. He claims that the lack of appreciation from those he helped earlier robbed him of the exuberant vigour and energy to help young musicians.
