I Wanted To Take Legal Action – Kidi Breaks Silence On Fake Stroke Rumours

KiDi has spoken about the traumatic experience he went through when rumours spread that he had suffered stroke when he was actually only sick.

Without giving any further specifics, KiDi announced in February that he would be cancelling his March 2023 North American tour due to health reasons. This announcement was sparked rumours and assumptions, with some even suggesting he had a stroke. Richie Mensah from Lynx Entertainment was quick to dispute these rumours.

During an interview on Daybreak Hitz on Hitz FM, KiDi talked openly about the impact the rumours have had on him, his loved ones, and the companies with which he’s working.

KiDi has spoken out about his anger at the spread of fake news, saying that he remembers the exact minute the rumours began to circulate. His mother was among the many people who called to express their worry, and their calls just added to his anxiety.

He didn’t take the rumours’ spreading lightly, and he thought about filing a lawsuit against the bloggers who started them. He told Lynx Entertainment’s CEO, Richie, of his concerns about the continuing spread of rumours that were harmful to the company. KiDi could see that some people were taking advantage of the situation for their own gain.

“When it happened, I called Richie 9CEO of Lynx Entertainment) and asked, How many times or for how long will these things happen, and we will say it’s nothing? How long will we have to keep doing this? People are taking advantage, obviously, as you can see’. There needs to be some course of action,” KiDi remarked.

KiDi and his staff gave the situation careful consideration before deciding to ignore the bad news rather than take legal action. They instead chose to take an intelligent and responsible approach to the problem.
