I’m Tired—Becca ‘Gives Up’ On Defending Bleaching Allegations

Becca has once again expressed her thoughts on the ongoing scrutiny surrounding her skin complexion. She expressed her exhaustion with individuals who, despite never meeting her in person, continue to claim that she has bleached her skin based on recent internet photos.

The talented singer acknowledges that she cannot alter people’s perceptions of her. According to her father, he had previously advised her that once she stepped into the spotlight, people would form diverse opinions about her, regardless of whether they were based on falsehoods or truths.

Becca insists she will not change her filter just because of what people will say about her.

“I cannot go into everyone’s home and tell them this is how I look or show them how I look. People who see me physically know how I look. Sometimes people at the gym even laugh at me. They are like people are like…It is absolutely fine with me, you’ve seen me and you’ve seen how I look,” she said in a conversation with Doreen Avio on Hitz FM.

On the comments about her bleaching, she said, ” No, I didn’t read them. Honestly, I don’t read comments. I never read comments. At the end of the day…My father told me one thing and it’s called opinion. Everyone has opinions on things so If I’m going to be hurt by every single person’s opinion, I’m human and I have feelings but the thing is that when you have done things for so long and you understand the dynamics of it, you’ll not be bothered so much.

“They will come and see me here today; they will say no. They will still do something. I’ve matured and I’ve grown so much in this industry that when you say you’re not bothered, it does not mean you don’t listen to people’s opinions, you respect their opinion. I respect what you say and as long as you in your house and not come and attack me, we don’t have a problem.”
