Kanye West Sued For Wrongful Termination By Two Black Teachers At Donda Academy; Claims No Chairs, Only Sushi For Lunch Every Single Day

Kanye West faces yet another lawsuit, this time from the only two black teachers at his Donda Academy, who are suing for wrongful termination.

In the lawsuit obtained by TMZ, the women allege that they were hired as full-time employees earlier this year, and that it didn’t take long before they encountered a multitude of issues at the school. The lawsuit also alleges that the instructors were subject to racial discrimination and harassment.

The women allege that sushi was the only lunch option for students, and that this was the case every day. In addition, they assert that parents were not permitted to bring their children any outside sustenance or drink other than water.

According to the teachers, Kanye’s classes could not be held on the second floor because he is “afraid of stairs” and did not want students to use forks or spoons. In addition, they found it odd that Kanye had banned crossword puzzles and colouring sheets from Donda Academy.

In addition to all of Kanye’s bizarre rules, the teachers claim he forbade chairs and forced children to sit on foam cushions or stand. According to reports, other instructors had to do the same or use a stool.

The teachers claim they were fired after raising concerns about the school’s lack of resources, such as the absence of a nurse or caretaker and the provision of a single restroom for the entire school.

The allegations are damaging to West’s reputation, as he has been vocal about his desire to establish a school that provides a quality education to disadvantaged pupils.

The Donda Academy, which opened in 2022 and was named after West’s late mother, has been criticised for its lack of resources and for allegedly mistreating students and staff.

Donda Academy is an unaccredited Christian private school for pre-kindergarten through twelfth grade, located in Simi Valley, California, United States.

Parents had to sign a non-disclosure agreement to keep the school’s location secret and to say nothing about it; it charges $15,000 per student. Students wear blackshirt Balenciaga uniforms designed by West himself.

His erstwhile accountant and production company have also filed lawsuits against him for unpaid fees. The rapper and entrepreneur has been criticised for his controversial statements and conduct, including his recent antisemitic statements.

The lawsuit emphasises the significance of providing a safe and equitable learning environment for all students, as well as the necessity of holding schools accountable when they fail to meet these standards.
