Kizz Daniel’s Biography

Oluwatobiloba Daniel Anidugbe (born 1 May 1994) is a Nigerian singer and songwriter best known by his stage name Kizz Daniel (formerly Kiss Daniel).

Kizz Daniel was born as Oluwatobiloba Daniel Anidugbe in Abeokuta, Ogun State, Nigeria. He is from the local government area of Abeokuta North. He attended Abeokuta Grammar School and graduated in 2013 with a degree in Water Resources Management and Agrometeorology (Water Engineering) from Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta. During his undergraduate studies, he decided to pursue a vocation in music.

Music Career

In May 2015, Kizz Daniel released his third follow-up single, “Laye,” on his birthday. Two weeks later, AJE FILMS directed a music video for “Laye” that was filmed in various locations in eastern Africa.

On May 14, 2016, Daniel released his debut studio album titled New Era.

In November of 2017, Kizz Daniel announced his separation from his record label, G-Worldwide, and the formation of his own imprint, FLYBOY I.N.C. The former record label sued him in court, but he was found not guilty of any of the offences he was accused of.

Kizz Daniel announced in May 2018 that he had changed his stage name from Kiss Daniel to Kizz Daniel, which was reflected promptly on his social media accounts. New Spotify and Apple Music accounts with the name Kizz Daniel and his new songs were also created immediately.

In a press release sent to media outlets in June 2018, Kizz Daniel’s former record label G-Worldwide claimed ownership of the name “Kizz Daniel” and warned the performer to stop using it or face legal consequences. In October of 2018, Daniel’s attorney responded to the lawsuit and statement made by his former record label G-Worldwide. Emperor Geezy and Daniel resolved their differences outside of court on April 8, 2022, in a viral video tagged #Peace&Love.

After leaving his previous label, G-WorldWide, he established his own label, FLYBOY I.N.C., which recently signed two new artists, Demmie Vee and Philkeyz. Then, Kizz Daniel was featured on the “You Go Wait?” single by Demmie Vee.

The year 2018 was certainly a successful one for the “WOJU” singer, as he collaborated with Wizkid on the hit song “FOR YOU” and Davido on the chart-topping single “One Ticket” within 24 hours of its release.

“No Bad Songz,” Kizz Daniel’s second studio album and his first under FlyBoy Inc. was released on December 30, 2018. The album contained twenty songs, including the previously released “One Ticket”, on which he collaborated with Davido.

Nasty C, Diamond Platiumz, Philkeyz, Demmie Vee, Dj Xclusive, Wretch 32, Diplo, and Sarkodie were among the other artists featured on the album. Within twenty-four hours of its release, the album debuted at No. 55 on the U.S. iTunes Chart and climbed to No. 1 on the global Album Chart.

On June 25, 2020, he released his third studio album, titled ‘King of Love.’

On May 4, 2022, he released a chart-topping single titled “Buga.” The song became a hit with dance challenges on Instagram and TikTok with prominent people including the President of Liberia, George Weah dancing to it.

Personal Life

On May 1, 2021, he and his mysterious companion welcomed Jamal, Jalil, and Jelani as triplets. Later, Kizz disclosed that he lost one of his triplets, Jamal, just four days after his delivery, while acquiring a two-bedroom penthouse for each of Jalil and Jelani.
