Kwami Sefa Kayi’s Biography
Kwami Sefa Kayi, popularly known as “Chairman General,” was born on June 20, 1970, and is a Ghanaian media figure, broadcast journalist, and public speaker. Currently, he hosts the popular morning show on Peace FM known as “Kokrokoo.”

Education
He completed his secondary education at the Okuapeman Secondary School.
He then got admission into the Ghana Institute of Journalism, where he obtained Certificate in Public Relations, Advertising & Marketing and Certificate In Advanced Communication.
In 2018, Sefa Kayi finished the Executive Master of Arts in Conflict, Peace, and Security (EMCPS) program at the Kofi Annan International Peacekeeping Training Centre (KAIPTC).
Public Service
On August 6, 2021, Kwami Sefa Kayi was sworn in as a National Petroleum Authority board member.
Entertainment
Until 2007, he presented the inaugural Ghana Music Awards. He co-hosted the 20th VGMAs alongside Berla Mundi in 2019.
Philanthropy
He is the founder and proprietor of the 2015-founded Kokrokoo Foundation. In April of 2019, the charity donated incubators valued at $100,000.00 to help reduce the infant mortality rate among premature infants.
The ‘Project 100’ initiative was launched in 2014 with the goal of supplying at least 100 incubators to various health facilities across the country. As of April 2021, 35 incubators were available.
